Westcountry Game Fair 2009
The Westcountry Game Fair is one of the first of the regional game fairs in the 2009 calendar. The indoor and outdoor arenas host a variety of countryside demonstrations including wildfowling, gundog training, falconry, lurchers, equestrian demonstrations, hunt parade (Sunday only), fly casting and more.
Shooting activities are a popular aspect to the Westcountry Game fair and with experts on hand to offer advice and information it's a great chance to have-a-go at clay pigeon shooting or on the air rifle range. BASC also support this years game fair with gundog scurries, shooting coaching and air rifle shooting. Other have-a-go activities include archery and fly casting.
The fair also features a countryside shopping village with hundreds of specialist products to buy including clothing, footwear, shotguns, countryside paintings and prints, fishing equipment, dog beds, shooting equipment and much more.
Other attractions include a game cookery area, vintage tractors, racing ferrets, ferret displays, falconry displays and more!
Dates: 14th and 14th March 2009 - 9.00am until 5.00pm on both days.
