The 2008 CLA Game Fair continues to feature the firm favourites, many of which have grown over the years due to popular demand. One such area is the Fisherman’s Village, the largest game fishing show within the UK which showcases all leading tackle and rod manufacturers - a must for the keen angler. A variety of events are available for visitors who would like to take a more ‘hands on’ approach to Trout and Salmon fishing with competitions and championships held over the course of the 3 days.
This year The CLA Game Fair are also welcoming a series of new events within the Fishing area with demonstrations which are sure to be of interest to anglers of all disciplines. The line up includes a selection of angling characters, many of which are much admired and include the likes of Nick Hart, John Wilson, Hywel Morgan, Sue Parker, Pat O’Reilly, Henry Gilby, John Bailey and Andy Murray. A ‘meet the stars' session provides the chance for book signings and an incredible exhibition based upon Fred Buller’s research on Pike will look at the history of Pike fishing.
